Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

As the president of the board of trustees for the Russian Chamber Philharmonic St. Petersburg, I am proud to have the honour of presenting you with our anniversary program.

I have been following the intensive growth of the Russian Chamber Philharmonic St. Petersburg over the last two decades. Wonderful moments with masters Mstislav Rostropovich, Igor Oistrach, Mischa Maisky, Andrei Gavrislov, Liana Isakadze, Elena Bashkirova and Mikis Theodorakis live with me and my family. This orchestra and its adored string sound has developed into concert bookings with world stars in the most renowned European halls and festivals.

The Russian Chamber Philharmonic St. Petersburg delivers a message from my motherland. Throughout the generations, art continues to reach out where words leave us, a mission bringing the world together in peace and harmony. I am proud of this tradition of heart and soul, an integral part of culture in today's world.
